Thank you for your emails of 17 January 2024 requesting the following information under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act):
Dear Ministry of Housing and Urban Development,
I request all correspondence between hid and gha accountants rotorua, glenn winiata
hawkins or any employees, relating to housing, te arawa, ngati whakaue, lifewise,
visions of a helping hand,
All correspondence between hud and taniya ward, kelly kuru , natalie ward , charlene
turia, curtis deane , of MSD , and lyall wilson, william barris, or any others at hud that
are from msd , and visions and are about housing, and properties, repairs, complaints,
requests,

An initial assessment of your request identified approximately 11,000 emails as potentially being in
scope of your request. On 25 January 2024, Te Tūāpapa Kura Kāinga – Ministry of Housing and
Urban Development (the Ministry) advised you that your request would require substantial collation
to respond to, and as such is likely to be rejected under section 18(f) of the Act. On 1 February 2024,
the Ministry sent a further email to you following up on our refinement request.
As you did not provide a refinement to your original request, I am refusing it under section 18(f), as
the information requested cannot be made available without substantial collation or research.
