Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities (at the time Housing New Zealand) home loan 
scheme that existed prior to 1992. 
I am extending the timeframe for providing a decision on your request to 5 March 2024 under 
section 15A(1)(b) of the Act:  
‘Consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a proper response 
to the request cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit’. 
We wil  endeavour to provide you with a response as soon as possible within this timeframe. 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
