Thank you for your Official Information Act request, transferred to me on 26 January 
2024. You requested the following: 
 
1.  Please provide all correspondence between government ministers and 
Cameron Slater (formerly of Whale Oil blog and subject of the "Dirty Politics 
book).  
2.  Pease provide any information with regards to any meetings between Mr 
Slater and any government ministers. 
 
I have not corresponded or met with Cameron Slater. Therefore, your request is 
refused under section 18(e) of the OIA, as the document alleged to contain the 
requested information does not exist. 
 
This reply addresses the information you requested. You have the right to ask the 
Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision.
