Official Information Act 1982 request – statistics on Prime
Minister’s Scholarships for Asia and Latin America for the previous
four years
I acknowledge receipt of your official information request which was
transferred to Education New Zealand on 4 January 2024 from the
Ministry of Education, seeking information as below:
I would like to request the information available for the most
recent 4 years on:
1. The number of applicants for the Scholarship in each year.
2. The number of applicants granted the Scholarship in each
year.
3. The university grade point average of the applicants granted
the Scholarship at the time of their applications.
We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible and
in any event no later than 13 February 2024, being 20 working days
after the day your request was received. If we are unable to respond to
your request by then, we wil notify you of an extension of that
timeframe.
