Thank you for your email on 7 December 2023, asking for the following under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act):  
 
“Please provide all information, including emails, memos, business cases, letters of 
expectation, et al related to steps that Te Whatu Ora is taking to give effect to the policy of 
the new Government that public service organisations should have their primary name in 
English.” 
 
Response 
 
Te Whatu Ora has received no direction, written or verbal, from the Government on the policy that 
public service organisations should have their primary name in English. As such, your request is 
refused under section 18(g) of the Act as the information is not held.
