I refer to the Official Information Act (the Act) request dated 2 December 2023 for information relating to third
year Mechanical Engineering grades. You have specifical y requested:
With the recent release of grades, for the papers listed below, please provide the fol owing data:

ENME303_23S1
ENME307_23S1
ENME314_23S1
ENME302_23S2
ENME313_23S2
ENME315_23S2
ENME362_23S2
(1) The final grade distribution for the paper (broken down by letter grade, e.g. A+, A, A-, ... etc.)
(2) The number of students who completed the paper
(3) The mean and median final marks for the paper (percentage)
If the papers had anything notable that would sway the statistics, please also note that down.
Please find the requested information in the attached document. For question one, please note that the
physical number of students and the percentage of students achieving a particular grade have been provided.
Where the physical number of students is five students or less, the exact number is not provided, rather a
range of less than or equal to five (≤5). This is to protect the individual’s privacy under s 9(2)(a) of the Act. It is
in the public interest that individuals are not identifiable when providing information regarding course grades.
There were no comments regarding anything notable that would sway any statistics.
