Request under the Official Information Act 1982 – Notification of extension
Thank you for your email of 1 December 2023, requesting the fol owing information from Wintec ǀ
Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institute of Skil s and Technology (Te Pūkenga):
I would like to request a breakdown of external consultants/contractors hired to undertake work
for, or on behalf of, the Wintec Pouārahi Māori Directorate team, throughout the period 2021-
2023 (inclusive and to date) by name or name of organisation, the purpose of the contract, the
total amount paid for the contract and title of the staff member the contractor/consultant was
responsible to.
I am writing to let you know that we are extending the timeframe for making a decision on your
request by ten working days. You can expect a decision on your request by 5 February 2024. This
extension is being made under section 15A(1)(b) of the Official Information Act (OIA). Please be
assured we will provide a response prior to this time if at all possible.
As the information you have requested sits across different teams within Wintec ǀ Te Pūkenga,
technical collation and consultations necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a
proper response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.
