Thank you for your email on 4 December 2023, asking for the following which has been
considered under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act):
Te Whatu Ora (formerly Canterbury DHB) advises patients that "Ministry of Health criteria for
Special Authority application of stimulant medication requires a recent random urinary drug
screen if stimulant medication is seen as the appropriate treatment." Please provide these
criteria in full.
The information requested was released in response to a previous OIA request, and is available
online here:

Please note the link above refers specifically to ADHD medication rather than more broadly to
stimulant medication of which you have requested. However, the response remains the same, that
we do not hold the information requested and are therefore declining your request pursuant to
section 18(g) of the Official Information Act.
