Thank you for your email of 28 November 2023 to the Ministry for Ethnic Communities (the 
Ministry) requesting the fol owing information under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA):  
I.  …May I kindly request org chart of your team who deal with OIA Act request. 
II.  How many OIA Act request you have received from 1st Jan 2023 to 28 Nov 
2023. Also are able to provide the status of how many request[s] you have 
delayed in reply and how many you required extension of time to response… 
In response to part 1 of your request, I refer you to the Ministry’s response, dated 21 April 
2023, to your previous request (OIA2223-0674 refers). Page 3, appendix 1 of this response 
shows the Ministerial Services team that are responsible for responding to OIA requests. 
The Ministry has received 41 departmental OIA requests between 1 January 2023 and 28 
November 2023. Of these, 2 requests required an extension, in line with section 15A(1) of 
the OIA. In accordance with Section 28(4)(a) of the OIA, the Ministry responds to all OIA 
requests as soon as is reasonably practicable. 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of our response
