We refer to your official information request dated 11 November 2023 for:
GIS data related to Map 4 (p47) of the District Plan Review Committee, including
the following to full extent of the district, Key Native Ecosystems, Significant Natural
Areas, Potential y High Productive Land, and Primary Ecological Network.
The maps requested have al been attached to this letter and the fol owing
information outlines any potential risks involved in downloading the data and/or
the interpretation of the data available.
The maps presented to the District Plan Review Committee are intended solely for
the purpose of spatial plan analysis. For information regarding the development
of any maps for the District Plan, please contact Council’s District Plan team.
The Significant Natural Areas and Primary Ecological Network layers (Significant
Amenity Landscapes, Outstanding Natural Landscapes, Outstanding Natural
Features) are the data from a version dated November 27, 2018, specifical y
associated with the Ecology and Landscape Project that was being undertaken at
the time.
If the GIS data is used by other parties outside of council, no warranty or
representation is given as to their accuracy. No liability is accepted for loss or
damage arising directly or indirectly from reliance on the information in this data.
