(the Ministry) requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following:
What submission date of the applications are currently (Date you reply to this request) being
allocated to an Immigration Officer for Partner of a New Zealander Resident Visa?
In addition to the above, please outline and clarify between the allocation dates for the Partner of
a New Zealand Citizen or Resident Visa application for visa's submitted online and on paper.
Our Response
As at 13 November 2023, the most recent Partner of New Zealander Resident Visa application
allocated to an immigration officer for assessment via the online channel was submitted on 19 July
2023. The most recent Partner of New Zealander Resident Visa application allocated to an immigration
officer for assessment via the paper channel was submitted on 12 July 2023.
