Re: Auckland Council Learning Quarter
Thank you for your email dated 26 October 2023, in which you requested information about
the Auckland Council Learning Quarter Working Group. The specific details of your request
and our response are below.
The Auckland Council Learning Quarter Working Group was formed by Auckland
Council with council family reps attending.
It last met in June 2022.
The Terms of Reference refer to meeting agendas and meeting minutes, with meetings
to be held at least 5 times yearly. The TOR also states that the meetings will be
administered by and chaired by someone from Auckland Council.
For this LGOIMA I am requesting the agendas and minutes for meetings from 2019 to
2022.
I am also requesting a copy of the Learning Quarter Plan 2019-2029 referenced in the
Working Group's 'Terms of Reference Learning Quarter Working Group 2019 - 2021’.
Copies of the agenda and meeting minutes from 2019 to 2022 are attached.
A copy of the Learning Quarter Plan 2009 is also attached. This plan was reviewed by the
Learning Quarter Working Group in 2020, with the intention of developing an updated plan. At
the time, due to the pressures of Covid and changing personnel within the group and across
the universities, there was no desire to take the identified actions forward in the near future.
