Thank you for your email of 25 October 2023 to Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities requesting the 
following information under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
1. How many other developments have you developed that are similar to the proposed Teitei 
development (ie combination of affordable homes, public houses and long-term worker-rental 
homes) 
 
2. If there are similar developments how many complaints have you received in regards to the 
tenants of those properties between 1/10/22 and 30/9/23. 
 
 
3. How many tenants have been evicted from the above properties between 1/10/22 and 
30/9/23. 
 
We can confirm that Kāinga Ora has not developed any similar developments to the Teitei Drive 
development in Ohakune. As such, we have determined that no other sites that we have developed 
would be considered comparable, and therefore, I am refusing questions two and three of your 
request under section 18(g) of the Act, in that the information requested is not held by the department, 
and the person dealing with the request has no grounds for believing that the information is either held 
by another department or connected more closely with the functions of another department.
