OIA 23-24-20: Conflicts of interest- NZTE Investment 
 
Thank you for your email of 10 October 2023 to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), 
making a request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act). You requested the following 
information: 
 
Please provide details of any funding signed off by Dylan Lawrence while at NZTE either 
directly to, or for the primary benefit of, any entity which he is now formally associated with (for 
example, holding a board position). 
 
If any funding has been given, was the NZTE CEO or Board aware of the funding before 
approving the external role. 
 
Answers to your questions are as follows 
 
NZTE has reviewed its records and found that Dylan Lawrence has not signed off any funding 
for entities he is now formally associated with.  
 
You have the right under section 28(3) of the Act to seek an investigation and review by the
