Thank you for your email of 4 October 2023 requesting the fol owing information from Te
Tari Taiwhenua | the Department of Internal Affairs under the Official Information Act 1982
(the Act):
1. I would like to request a list of vacancy (ministerial appointment only, e.g., board
member, Lay member, Trustee etc) that the nomination period has been closed but
stil under consideration by the DIA or relevant Minister.
2. In your list, can you please include the date that vacancy been advertised, what
method you have used to publicly advertise the position, how many application you
have received and when the vacancy been closed as wel .
3. Also, I would like to know if you have any future opening in 2024. e.g., the position
that wil call for nomination in the year of 2024.

There is currently one vacancy for which the nomination period has closed but which is stil
under consideration by Te Tari Taiwhenua or the relevant minister. Please refer to
Appendix
A for a breakdown of the details of this vacancy.

I have provided a breakdown of the details of anticipated appointments in 2024 in
