Thank you for your email on 2 October 2023, asking for the following under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
1 All Hauora a toi MHA policies  
2 Hauora a Toi MHA Clincial Practice Manual 
 
On 31 October 2023, we informed you that we needed more time as consultations were 
necessary to make a decision on your request. 
 
We have worked with all the relevant hospital areas to try to find the information that would 
be in scope of your request. At this point, we estimate that over 40 hours of work has been 
carried out on this request. Despite this, we stil  haven’t identified any documents that are 
within scope of your request. To do so would take considerably more resources to answer 
your request as it currently stands. 
 
Given the amount of work that would still have to be carried out to provide you with this 
information, we have decided to refuse your request under section 18(f) of the Act as the 
information requested cannot be made available without substantial collation or research. 
This is in addition to the substantial research we have already undertaken.
