We refer to your official information request dated 26 September 2023 for:
The year to 30 June 2023:
1. A list of all external non-profit organisations funded by way of Hutt City
Council grants or budget al ocations. This includes payments by Council to
marae or associated entities.
2. The amount paid to each organisation or entity.
3. The council budget from which each payment was made.
Answer: Please refer to the fol owing Committee agenda papers:
1. Community, Culture and Partnerships Committee has responsibility for
deciding the recipients of grant payments within the approved relevant
budgets.
For example, on 7 September 2022 the Committee made decisions on the
al ocation of the Mouri Ora fund 2022/23 (refer CCCCC2022/4/172).
Council website has a list of Mouri Ora Fund (successful recipients) from the

The Manaaki Marae Fund (formerly known as the HCC Marae Annual Funding
Grant) is an annual fund Hutt City Council administers to al seven of the Marae
in the Hutt Val ey in support of the provision of services to the community. The
funding amount for each of the seven Marae within the financial year 2022-2023
is $33,612.84.
