Thank you for your email of 21 September 2023 to Auckland Transport requesting CCTV footage. 
Your request was transferred to Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency on 27 September 2023 and has 
been considered under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
I am looking for traffic camera footage along the southwestern motorway, The cameras I 
am interested in are listed on geomaps with the IDs 668, 194, 193, and 192. If possible 
could I get the recordings of Wednesday the 20th of September 2023 from 5 pm to 8 pm 
as this is when the car was stolen. 
 
We emailed you on 28, 29 September and 2 October requesting that you provide further details about 
the location of the incident. Unfortunately, as we have not received a response from you, we have 
been unable to identify the CCTV footage being requested and therefore do not consider your request 
to have been made with due particularity. Your request has therefore been cancelled. 
 
Further, where footage is captured, it is only held within our systems for anywhere from 24 hours to 
several days (depending on camera location). As it is more than three days since you made the 
request, any footage from those dates would now likely be overwritten.
