Information Request – Fire Emergency Commanders Association 
 
Thank you for your information request dated 10 September 2023 asking for the following 
information.  
 
Can you please confirm that members of the Fire Emergency Commanders Association 
have received an annual review of their salary in accordance with the collective agreement 
signed in December 2021.   
 
In accordance with the provisions of the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA), we confirm that 
members of the Fire Emergency Commanders Association pay rates were updated on 28 June 
2023, covering the period for 2022 to 2023. The pay rates were further updated on 23 August 
2023, covering the period 2023 to 2024. Any backpay the members were entitled to was paid on 
either 28 June or 23 August 2023.
