We write further to our email of 28 August 2023, acknowledging receipt of your OIA 
request (the Request) of 25 August 2023 seeking information (if held by CIAL) in 
relation to our dealings with Chorus relating to the new Tarras airport. 
Request: Received 25 August 2023 – Dealings with Chorus 
“Could I have a copy of all emails, letters, meetings notes, presentations and other 
correspondence with Chorus relating to the new Tarras airport.”

As the Project is currently in the validation and planning phase, there has been no 
requirement for us to engage with Chorus NZ at this point.  Therefore, your request 
is refused under section 18(g) of the OIA, because the information is not held.
