OFFICIAL INFORMATION REQUEST  
 
I refer to further communications dated 10 September 2023, As per my email response on August 17,

advised that I am working for a number of rate payers and residents and offered for the request to be put 
through by another person if you preferred. 
 
Are you saying that if anyone asked for the information they would also be rejected; or its just being rejected 
because you have too much work load & because I have too many OIA's? 
 
in relation to your official information request dated 11 August 2023, I request all documents, emails or 
notes that have the keyword "Teitei" in the last 3 years. 
 
Due to the substantial amount of work that would be required to research and collate the information 
you have requested, we are refusing your request under section 17(f) of the LGOIMA.  A search of 
RDC emails alone for the last 3 years, returned 3852 containing the word Teitei.  Noting that each 
recipient and each email in an email chain generates a hit in the search.  Allowing for one minute 
per email stream to read, review and redact where necessary amounted to 64.2 hours.  
 
We have considered whether charging or extending the timeframe for responding to your request 
would  help,  as  required  by  section  17A  of  the  LGOIMA.    However,  these  options  are  unlikely  to 
assist. 
 
We suggest refining your request to a specific topic, this would allow for a more targeted search.  
 
This would be our response to anyone making the same request.
