Thank you for your email of 4 August 2023 requesting the following information under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
If possible, I am requesting to see files that relate to the design, route, interchanges of the 
proposed Petone to Grenada highway such as any preliminary designs etc 
 
The Petone to Grenada Link Road is currently on hold. Technical information from before the project 
was paused can be found on our website: https://nzta.govt.nz/projects/petone-to-grenada-link-road/, 
under the ‘Archive’ heading. I am therefore refusing your request under section 18(d) of the Act as the 
information you have requested is publicly available. 
 
No further work on the design, route or interchanges of the proposed Petone to Grenada Link Road 
has been undertaken since the project was put on hold in 2017/18.  
 
Under section 28 of the Act, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision to refuse
