Official Information Act request – Information regarding IRG projects in Ruapehu Region 
We refer to your request for information under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA), received on 24 July 2023, 
as below: 
Please provide the applications to date for Ruapehu region with regards to the CIP / IRG funding. 
Currently Ruapehu District Council has funding allocated to TeiTei Drive to develop the land. I'd like to 
see applications on the applications submitted to date and any amendments. 
On 6 August 2023, you confirmed that your request includes al  applications (irrespective of applicant and status).   
As noted in our letter dated 3 August 2023, the scope of the request wil  impact the time required to respond. 
Given the number of applications and associated documentation relevant to the request, the requirement to 
comply with our legal obligations (including both contractual and under the OIA) and the number of parties that 
need to be consulted, we are notifying you that we are extending the period of time to respond to your request 
by 30 working days (under section 15A(1)(b) of the OIA). This is required to col ate and review the relevant 
information and undertake the required consultation.   
If you would like to amend the scope of your request, please let us know.  Otherwise, we will continue to progress 
your request and wil  provide a response as soon as possible. 
CIP notes that you are entitled to make a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman under section 28(3) of the 
OIA.
