Official Information Act request – Information regarding IRG projects in Ruapehu Region 
We refer to your request for information under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA), received on 24 July 2023, 
as below: 
Please provide the applications to date for Ruapehu region with regards to the CIP / IRG funding. 
Currently Ruapehu District Council has funding allocated to TeiTei Drive to develop the land. I'd like to 
see applications on the applications submitted to date and any amendments. 
On 31 July 2023, you noted that you were seeking to understand the nature of the application submitted by 
Ruapehu District Council.  
We therefore wanted to clarify the scope of your request as this may impact the time required to respond to 
your request given the number of documents that may be relevant, and the level of consultation required.  
Specifically, we would be grateful if you would confirm the following: 
1.  whether you would like the applications: 
a.  made by Ruapehu District Council (RDC) relating to the project at TeiTei Drive; 
b.  made by RDC relating to social housing; 
c.  made by RDC; or 
d.  relating to the Ruapehu region, irrespective of who made the application; and 
2.  whether you want all applications or only those approved for funding.  
Once we have your clarification, we wil  be able to appropriately consider your request and the time required to 
respond.   
In the interim, we wil  continue to progress your request. 
CIP notes that you are entitled to make a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman under section 28(3) of the 
OIA.
