Request for information 
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request of 21 July 2023. You 
requested: 
Under the OIA please detail al  dates if any, Auckland Central MP, Chloe 
Swarbrick has met with NZ Police to discuss crime in her electorate from 
November 2020 through to July 17th 2023. 
To the best of Police’s knowledge, Auckland Police has met with MP, Chloe Swarbrick on 
the following dates: 
7 May 2021, 30 July 2021, 20 April 2022, 2 May 2022, 11 June 2022 and 22 July 2022. 
Discussions had related to:  
•
Crime and public order - what MP Chloe Swarbrick was hearing from her
constituents in relation to crime and fear of crime and asking Police for an
increased presence.
•
Police discussing the upscaling of foot patrols and visibility in the CBD and the
establishment of a beat deployment base.
•
General updates on progress with the beat deployment base and once
established what was being achieved.
