Official Information Act request relating to 2022 Review of domestic vaccine passes 
 
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request received on 3 July 2023. 
You requested: 
 
“ Could I please be provided the background documents and associated 
consultation that made up the the review led by DPMC on the use of My Vaccine 
Pass in 2022. 
 
The review led to the Cabinet documents called "The COVID-19 Response for Post-
peak Omicron" and also a document called "COVID-19 PROTECTION 
FRAMEWORK: REVIEW" - which are publicly available and I am not requesting 
those documents. ” 
 
I have decided to extend the time limit for deciding on your request by an additional 23 working 
days  under  section  15A  of  the  Act.  The  extended  due  date  for  your  response  will  be  1 
September 2023. The extension is required because of the consultations needed to make a 
decision on your request. Despite the extension, a response will be sent to you as soon as 
possible. 
 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision under section 
28(3) of the Act.
