INFORMATION  REQUEST  –  Councillor’s  who  voted  in  favour  of  the  Cameron  Road
Cycle Lane and the number of councillor’s that use the cycle lane.

We write in response to your email dated 29 June 2023 in which you requested the following
information:
1.  I would like to have a record of which councillors voted in favour of the Cameron
Rd cycle lane.
2.  I’d  also  like  to  know  how  many  councillors  actively  use  the  cycle  lanes  in
Tauranga as part of their daily commute
We have considered your request in accordance with the Local Government Official
Information and Meetings Act 1987 (“LGOIMA”) and respond as follows:
1.  I would like to have a record of which councillors voted in favour of the Cameron Rd
cycle lane.

section 17(g)(1), of the LGOIMA, that the information requested is not held by the
local authority and the person dealing with the request has no grounds for believing
that the information is either—
(i)  held  by  another  local  authority  or  a department  or  Minister  of  the  Crown  or
organisation; or
(ii)  connected more closely with the functions of another local authority, or a
department or Minister of the Crown or organisation:
