In regard to your Official Information Act (the Act) request, that the Department of Internal 
Affairs (the Department) received on 23 June 2023, our response is as follows.  
You have requested:   
 
Pleases share your emails, correspondence, Memos, and contracts with GroupSense.io. Please 
include: 
1.  All of the settings in your system (e.g., screenshots of the settings and engaged data 
brokers saved in a word document) for implementation on Facebook using and of the 
GroupSense toolsets. 
2.  INCLUDING the users and keywords flagged in your GroupSense system (e.g., in an 
excel spreadsheet or csv format).  
3.  The guidelines and objective documents used to complete the initial set up of your 
GroupSense implementation. 
4.  Copies if all GroupSense reports. 
5.  This request is for 2020 1 Jan until now. 
 
Our response is set out below:   
 
The Department has no current or past contracts with GroupSense.io. The Department has 
carried out searches in its systems and has not identified any past engagement with 
GroupSense.io.  
 
Therefore, your request has been refused in this instance under section 18(e) of the Act, as 
information in scope of the request does not currently exist or cannot be found despite 
reasonable efforts to locate them.
