Children  (Oranga Tamariki), requesting  the following  information under  the Of icial

Please provide the exact date Mr Te Kani was first made aware of the first 
allegation of abuse.

Please provide the date Mr Te Kani first contacted the advisor to Minister Davis 
or anyone in the office or connected to Minister Davis in relation to the first 
allegation.

Please provide the date when Mr Te Kani was first made aware of the 2nd 
allegation of abuse. 
 I am extending the time to respond to your request as consultations necessary to make 
a decision  on  your request are such that a proper response to the request cannot 
reasonably  be  made  within  the  original time limit.  I  am  therefore  extending  the 
timeframe of your request under section 15A(1)(b) of the Act. You can now expect a 
response to your request no later than Friday, 18 August 2023.  We will  of course 
respond sooner if possible.
