Thank you for your Official Information Act (Act) request received by the Department of Internal
Affairs (Department) on 20 June 2023.

1. Can you please provide a table that have the following details for the citizenship
applications submitted in January 2023?

2. How many LISOs are working on each workstreams currently and how many applications
assigned/completed per LISO (e.g., 5 LISOs are working on workstream 1, 10 applications
have been assigned to each LISO per month; 2 applications have been competed per
month; etc.)?
An email was sent to you on 26 June 2023 for clarification of question two of your request. On
the same day you confirmed that a response to question two was no longer necessary.

this letter.

1 January 2023 and 31 January 2023.
• The data was collated on 26 June 2023.
• The numbers come from a dynamic system environment and may differ slightly from
previous or future reporting.
As this information may be of interest to other members of the public, the Department has
decided to proactively release a copy of this response on its website. All requestor data,
including your name and contact details, will be removed prior to release. The released
