Official Information Act request relating to NEMA seismic resilience
Thank you for your Official Information Act request received on 13 June 2023. You requested:
Please identify each building that is currently the building intended/likely to be used as/is
the alternative location for the NCMC or houses emergency generators and other such
facilities required for the above facilities to remain operating after a seismic event
significant enough to trigger its activation.
Please provide the buildings current %nbs at IL4, the date of the last assessment, and the
type of seismic assessment completed.
Also,
Please identify any building that currently houses a high number or percentage of NEMA
staff in one place on a day to day basis.
Please provide the buildings current %nbs and the importance level used to assess the
building, the date of the last assessment, and the type of seismic assessment completed.
Alternately if you do not hold/cannot provide the above please provide the last seismic
assessment for the buildings identified above.“”
I have decided under section 15A of the Official Information Act to extend the time limit for deciding
on your request by an additional 11 working days.
The extension is required because of the consultations needed to make a decision on your request.
