I am responding to your email of 9 June 2023 to Te Tari Taiwhenua | the Department of 
Internal Affairs requesting the fol owing under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
“Can You please supply details of any audits or investigations completed involving 
Matthew Edwards or Molrudee Kasamchaiyan.” 
The timeframe to respond to your request has been extended by 18 working days, to  
4 August 2023. I wil  endeavour to provide you with a response earlier if possible. 
This extension is required under section 15A(1)(b) of the Act, as the consultations necessary 
to make a decision on your request are such that a proper response to the request cannot 
reasonably be made within the original time limit.
