I refer to your information request dated 16 May 2023 made under the Official Information Act 1982 
(the Act). You have requested: 
 
 
“the anonymised GPA of all students who study a LLB, BCOM with a major in Finance. This 
need not exclude students who are studying a double major or have an additional minor for 
their BCOM. Moreover, please only provide the GPA of those students who started studying in 
2019. This request relates to students who are currently enrolled at the University of Otago”. 
 
Subject to the following comments, please see below the information you have requested.   
 
• 
Only students concurrently enrolled in both the Bachelor of Laws (includes honours) and 
Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance are included. 
 
• 
The information provided is for students who were enrolled in LAWS101 for the first time in 
2019 and who are currently enrolled (2023) in LLB/Hons and BCom Finance. 
 
• 
Cumulative GPA is as at 24 April 2023 and is calculated for all results to date.
