May I ask how is the progress of this appointment round goes. When you expect 
to conclude the appointment process. 
 
I have decided to withhold most the information you are seeking under the following section 
of the Of icial Information Act 1982: 
 
•  advice stil  under consideration, section 9(2)(f)(iv) – to maintain the current 
constitutional conventions protecting the confidentiality of advice tendered by 
Ministers and officials.  
 
In making my decision, I have considered the public interest considerations in section 9(1) of 
the Of icial Information Act 1982 and determined there are no public interests which outweigh 
the grounds for withholding. 
 
However, I can advise that we expect the process wil  be completed by mid-July 2023.
