Official Information Act 1982 request for Border Executive Board information 
The Border Executive Board acknowledges receipt of your official information request dated 
30 April 2023: 
Under the OIA, I request copies of all agendas, minutes and any pre-reading 
documentation provided to members of this group from October 2022.  
I also request a copy of the boards most current work programme. 
We received your request on 2 May 2023 following the transfer from the New Zealand Customs 
Service. The scope of your request covers 10 Border Executive Board meetings. We have split 
your request into two parts.    
Part 1: Agenda, minutes and most current work programme 
We have begun to prepare the agendas and minutes from the Board meetings and the most 
current work programme as requested.  We will be able to provide these by 30 May 2023, 20 
working days after the day your request was received.  
Part 2: Pre-reading documents 
With many papers being presented to each Border Executive Board meeting, we wil  be unable 
to prepare all the documents in the current scope to respond to your request by 30 May 2023.  
To assist with processing your request ef iciently, are you able to identify specific areas that you 
are interested in? If you are unsure, you could receive the agendas and minutes first to help 
identify the pre-reading documents that are of interest. 
Please email through clarification of the pre-reading documents requested to 
[email address] or provide us with a phone number and we wil  call you to discuss. 
Once you have clarified the scope of the pre-reading documents, we will be able to confirm a 
timeframe for responding to this part of the request.
