Payable summary spend information.   Your request has been considered under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (OIA). 
You requested the following: 
I would like an extract of the annual amount spent with all suppliers for the 
2021/2022 financial year. I would like the following details provided: 
- Supplier Name
- Suppliers NZBN number (if available)
- Total Amount Spent
Your request for annual amount spent with all suppliers is declined pursuant to section 18(f) 
of the OIA – that the information requested cannot be made available without substantial 
collation or research. 
The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is satisfied that in the circumstances of this case, 
the withholding of the information is not outweighed by other considerations which render it 
desirable in the public interest to make the information available.
