OIA 22-23-51: Sharing approved direct investments to interested parties
Thank you for your email of 22 April 2023 to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE),
making a request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act). You requested the following
information:
I noted “NZTE are investigating the feasibility of sharing approved direct investments to
interested parties.”
Can you please provide all communication, emails and memos regards to this matter. What
investigation you have done so far, have you engaged third party to provide the service, have
you done a feasibility study? What’s the next step and when you are aiming to have this issue
resolved to ensure public transparency and accountability.

Appendix One.
An info pack created by NZTE’s digital team with options for advisor level visibility of Live Deals
is attached in
Appendix Two.

The scoping/ feasibility work is being done internal y by NZTE’s digital team. A third party has
not been engaged to provide the service.
What’s the next step and when you are aiming to have this issue resolved to ensure public
transparency and accountability.
NZTE is constantly aiming to improve access to Live Deals for relevant stakeholders. There is
currently no deadline for sharing approved direct investments to interested parties, however
there are next steps for action as outlined in the info pack attached in
Appendix Two.
