Official information request about funding provided to preserve the
southern Māori (Kāi Tahu) dialect and the Moriori language
Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori acknowledges receipt of your official information request
dated 20 April 2023, which I personally received today.
We plan to answer your request by 19 May 2023.
It’s our intention to reply as soon as possible, but that date gives us 20 working days to
get all the information we need to respond.
I wil be handling your request and collecting the information to answer your questions.
We wil let you know when we respond to your request if we intend to publish it.
