Thank you for your request made under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (OIA) on 3 April 2023. 
You requested the following: 
1) any advice you have provided to other Ministers on the importance of upholding the law, 
2) any advice you have provided to your office about the importance of the Attorney-General 

modelling best practice in complying with law in al  your ministerial roles. 
The information you have requested does not fall within the scope of the Of icial Information 
Act 1982 because it relates to my role as Law Of icer of the Crown. Where information is 
requested in that capacity, the Ombudsman has held it does not fall within the scope of the 
Of icial Information Act 1982 (see Case No W41067 and W44062). 
If you disagree with my decisions, you have the right under section 28(3) of the OIA, to ask the 
Ombudsman to investigate and review my decisions. The office of the Ombudsman can be
