Information Request – New Equipment, Appliances, or Buildings 
 
I refer to your official information request dated 28 March 2023 asking for information about any 
new equipment, appliances, or buildings that Fire and Emergency New Zealand plans to introduce 
in the near future in the Temuka or Aoraki area. 
 
I am advised that there are no current plans for new buildings, equipment or appliances at either 
Aoraki Mount Cook or Temuka.  
 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
