Request for information under the Official Information Act 1982
Thank you for your email dated 28 March 2023 to the New Zealand Customs Service
(Customs), requesting the following information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the
Act):
“Any document you may have on Kellie-Jay Keen aka Posie Parker.”
In response, please note that your request for any documents Customs hold on Kellie-Jay
Keen, as known as Posie Parker, is refused under section 9(2)(a) of the Act, where
withholding information is necessary to protect the privacy of natural persons, including that
of deceased natural persons.
Customs has considered the public interest arguments in favour of making this information
available, however, it is considered that these interests do not outweigh the necessity to
withhold Ms Keen’s personal information.
You have the right, by way of complaint to contact the Office of the Ombudsman under
section 28(3) of the Act, to seek an investigation and review of this response. Information
