The information you requested – CAS-706729-C1D0T5
I refer to your request for information dated 26 March 2023 about how senior management of
Auckland Transport travel to and from work each day and to meetings outside of their office.
Our Executive team comprises our Chief Executive and eleven executives.  We have detailed below
a response to each of your two questions:
1)  How do our executives travel to work?
  4 executives walk to work,
  5 executives travel on bus, train or ferry,
  1 executive travels on a scooter,
  2 executives use a combination of car, train, bus and walking.

2)  How do our executives travel to meetings in and around the city?
  All executives use buses (usually Inner City Link) or walk if within the CBD.
  When executives are required to attend site visits or meetings outside of the CBD, they
use an AT fleet vehicle which in most cases is an electric vehicle.  If they are required
to attend a meeting out of working hours in a few cases, they may use a car.

Should you believe that we have not dealt with your request appropriately, you are able to make a
complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA Act and
seek an investigation and review in regard to this matter.
