Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request of 24 March 2023. Your 
request is as fol ows: 
 
“Im wondering if you could provide all VHF frequencies both RT and TX using in 
canterbury along with CTC tones so I can update our scanner database.” 
 
Your request is refused under section  6(c)  of  the  OIA,  as  the  making  available  of  the 
information  would  be  likely  to  prejudice  the  maintenance  of  the  law,  including  the 
prevention, investigation, and detection of offences, and the right to a fair trial. 
 
Police considers the interests requiring protection by withholding the information are not 
outweighed by any public interest in release of the information.
