On 18 March 2023, you contacted the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) 
requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) for the following information: 
 
My request is for the New Zealand Board of Architects to provide a summary of the NZRAB 
Qualifications and Experience Panel Decisions for applicants of the "Qualifications and Experience 
Assessment" Could the summary please include: - Date Application Received - Qualifications / 
Registration of the Applicant - Post Qualification Experience (NZ & Overseas) in Years of the 
Applicant - QEAP Determination (Summary) - Date of Determination Please note that there was 
such a summary published showing decisions from 2013-2018. I can provide this for reference if 
needed. Could the board please put an * next to the applications that were declined where the 
Project Record Forms (PRFs) that were submitted by the applicant showed 5,250 hours or more of 
work experience. 
 
This letter is to notify you that MBIE has transferred your request in full to the New Zealand Registered 
Architects Board (NZRAB) as the information that you requested is not held by MBIE, but is held by 
NZRAB. In these circumstances, we are required by section 14(b)(i) of the Act to transfer your request. 
Please note that according to sections 14 and 15(1) of the Official Information Act, the 20-working day 
response period is reset by the transfer and starts again on the day NZRAB receives the transfer 
notification. MBIE notified NZRAB of the transfer today. 
You will hear further from NZRAB regarding your request.
