Request for Information pursuant to the Local Government Official Information and
Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA)
Thank you for your correspondence of 9 March 2023, in which you have requested the
following official information about the Eastern Bays Shared Path:
1. The names of the consultants engaged to provide procurement and other advisory
services in relation to this project. Please specify which consultants provided
procurement service and what services the other consultants provided.
2. The dates when procurement information was provided to the Council by
consultants.
3. Al reports containing benefit cost ratio calculations for the project.
You have asked for information about procurement. The process involved a memo being
prepared by Council officers, for the Chief Executive’s consideration. With her agreement, a
paper was prepared for the November 2021 Council meeting, seeking Council’s approval to
appoint the Te Ara Tupua Al iance (the Al iance). This paper can be found in the meeting
papers for the November 2021 Council meeting, available on Hutt City Council’s website.
The links below relate to documents that contain information about benefit cost ratio for the
project:
Document 1
Document 2
Document 3
We also attach two additional documents that are within scope of your request.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this response.
Information about how to make a complaint is available at
www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or
