Thank you for your email on 7 March 2023 asking for the following which has been 
considered under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act). You have specifically requested:  
 
“I would like to know the percentage of prescriptions that are supplied in compliance 
packaging (sachet/blister form).” 
 
Adherence packaging (compliance packaging) is not funded by Te Whatu Ora. Adherence 
packaging is privately funded by service users. The information is held by individual community 
pharmacy providers. Therefore, Te Whatu Ora is refusing your request under section 18(g) of the 
Act as the information you have requested is not held by Te Whatu Ora and we have no grounds to 
believe that the information is held by another department or Minister of the Crown or organisation.
