Thank you for your Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act) request of 18 April 2023, for
information relating to the demographics of New Zealand's health workforce.
1. Do business cases exist for any or all of the listed products in my original request? If so I
request them.
The implementation model uses a Product Centric Delivery methodology. This does not require
business cases to be developed for each change. Therefore, I am refusing this part of your request
under section 18(g) of the Act as the information you have requested is not held by Te Whatu Ora
and we have no grounds to believe that the information is held by another department or Minister
of the Crown or organisation.
2. Could you please stil provide me with any types of communications or documentation that
shows how decisions were made in the re-use of these applications post Covid?
Your request for all information is very broad, and substantial manual collation would be required to
locate and prepare all documents within scope of your request. As such, I refuse your request
under section 18(f) of the Act.
I have considered whether fixing a charge for the supply of the information or extending the
timeframe for response would enable Te Whatu Ora to respond. I do not consider that either option
would remove the impact that supplying the information would have on our other operations.
