Re: Wind up of Waitakere Enterprise Trust 
 
I refer to your email, which we received on 25 November 2014, requesting information about 
the wind up of the Waitakere Enterprise Trust Board. 
 
On 1 November 2010 the Local Government (Tamaki Makaurau Reorganisation) Act 2009 
dissolved the Waitakere Enterprise Trust Board and vested its assets and liabilities in the 
Council Controlled Organisation, Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development Ltd. 
 
The final audited accounts for Waitakere Enterprise Trust Board confirmed that as at 31 
October 2010 the Trust Board had total assets of $284,863, total liabilities of $161,997 
resulting in net assets of $122,866. The $122,866 was transferred to Auckland Tourism, 
Events and Economic Development Ltd.
