Thank you for your Official Information Act (OIA) request, received on 2 March 2023. 
You requested the following: 
 
I noted, Reappointments to the Earthquake Commission

May I ask how did you call for public nomination and on what platform you have 
call for public nominations, e.g. IOD website. Also, how many applications you 
have received from the public and how many you have received from other 
nominating agencies such as TPK. further, how many you have shortlisted. 
The term of reference of the role and the job description for the role. 
 
The reappointment of Commissioners already appointed to the Earthquake 
Commission Board required no call for new nominations. Therefore, your request is 
refused under section 18(e) of the OIA – the document alleged to contain the 
information requested does not exist or cannot be found. 
 
In regard to Board appointments under consideration, I refer you to the reply sent to 
your previous request dated 2 March 2023 (Reference 20230048).
