I work with Stephen Blackburn in the WCC events team, coordinating the community events
sponsorship programme. He has asked me to contact you regarding an application for funding for the
WIPP.
The process generally runs that you’ll have a chat with me (or we email), where we talk through your
budget, expected numbers, event concept etc and I assess whether you’re eligible for funding. Once
I’m happy with the info you’ve provided, we invite you to make a formal application through our
funding portal that Stephen and the rest of the team will assess. For more info abut this programme,

To get the ball rolling, can you please send through your total budget for the event as well as any
information about where else you are hoping to secure funding from and your total ask from us. Once
I’ve got that we can go from there.
